Summary Terms & Conditions
Making a purchase couldn't be easier. Just browse our range of wines, spirits and wine gifts and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling (including VAT and duty) and prices listed are per bottle unless otherwise stated.
In the unlikely event that we have run out of an item on your order, we will endeavour to contact you to arrange a replacement. However, at peak times of the year, we do reserve the right to replace out of stock items with another of equal or greater value.
After you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmatory e-mail setting out the details of your order.
By placing an order for wines or spirits, you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
If you are buying the alcohol as a gift, you are also confirming the recipient is over 18 years old.
If you are a new customer to West Mount Wine, we may contact you to verify your age.
We regret we cannot deliver alcohol to persons who are or appear to be under the age of 18.
All packages containing alcohol must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no one of that age is at the address when the delivery is attempted, the goods will be retained by the driver and the driver will leave notification of attempted delivery and a note explaining the next steps.

We are happy to accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards, cheques or bank transfer. We only accept payment in Pounds Sterling.
For all orders under £200, we apply a shipping charge of £10 per case of 12 or part thereof for most of the UK mainland. For orders of 3 bottles or fewer, the shipping charge is £8.
Orders over £200 are free to the "Mainland UK" shipping destination.
Smaller, non-wine items such as corkscrews are charged in three bands, £3.50, £5.00 and £8.00 depending on the weight of the order. For orders over 5KG, the wine shipping charges above apply.

- The Scottish Highlands (Postcodes AB37-38, AB 41-56, FK19-21, IV1-20, IV25, IV30-37, IV63, KW1-3, KW5-14, PA 21-39, PA40, PH 15-26, PH 30-41, PH 49-50);
- The Scottish Islands (Postcodes HS1-9, IV41-51, IV54-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA62-76, PH42-44, ZE1-3);
- The Isle of Wight (Postcodes PO30 - 41);
- Northern Ireland (Postcodes BT).
We can export to the Isle of Man (Postcodes IM 1-9), the Channel Islands (postcodes JE & GY) and the Republic of Ireland, but shipping will be subject to an individual quote.
We aim to send most in-stock orders for within two to three working days. If this is not possible, we normally make the majority of all UK mainland deliveries within five days of your order, excluding week-ends and bank holidays. Northern Ireland, and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland may take longer.
We use APC as a next day courier and once you recieve confirmation your order has dispatched, you should receive it the next working day except in postocdes IV21-24, IV26-28, IV40, IV52-53, PA40, PH34-41 and all offshore postcodes which operate on a two day service.
However, some wines are stored in-bond and therefore may take a little longer to despatch. All orders should be delivered within 10 working days. If we expect your order to take longer than 5 working days to dispatch, we will contact you to inform you of the delay.
Saturday and timed deliveries can be arranged at additional cost for in stock items. Please contact us for details.
Returns, Refund and Cancellation Policy
We want to ensure that you receive your order in perfect condition and that you enjoy it.
In the unlikely event of something going wrong, we will do our best to put it right as soon as possible.

Cancelling your order
For your complete peace of mind, you may cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of goods. A refund will be given on return of the goods, provided that the goods remain unopened, in good condition and that the request to cancel is received in by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Any cancelled order will be refunded within thirty days.
West Mount Wine is committed to promoting responsible drinking through its retail operations and on all of its wine and spirit events.
The UK Government advises that men drink no more than three to four units a day and women no more than two to three. In some situations, such as pregnancy, it is better to drink less or not at all.

West Mount Wine do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Safeguarding your financial and personal information is one of our most important priorities.
We automatically encrypt all sensitive information sent between your computer and our servers. When registering or logging in to our site, we verify that your internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher.
Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available).
Your personal information is stored on secure servers and heavily guarded, both physically and electronically. To further shield your credit card and bank numbers, we do not directly connect our firewall-protected servers to the internet. We will not store your credit card details.
We use HSBC, one of the World's largest financial services providers to process our card payments and we must meet their stringent security requirements to use their service.
